Profile Update

This isn't going to be the longest blog I've written but reflecting on my last couple of posts, I've noticed that I have a good start on showing a little more about me. My Eeyore personality and my adoration of the Detroit Lions football team. Throw in how much I talk about recovery from substance use disorder, you can pretty much wrap me up by adding one more topic.

Alien stuff.

I'm not going to get into a whole discussion about my beliefs with any of that because that's actually a hot topic these days but the truth is, I really don't know what I think they are yet. Angels? Demons? Time travelers? Alf? I'm sure it'll be solved before I figure it out so I'm not that concerned with finding a solution. But I can tell you, there is something up there.

I've always been interested and I think about 15 years ago, Ancient Aliens kinda guided me toward a new way of thinking about visitors to Earth. I'm at a point where I really don't think there's anything I don't think is possible anymore. The more I learn, the more I realize how many possibilities are out there.

In June, breaking news on the topic re-sparked my curiosity. So, at that point, I started going outside on pretty much every clear night and stared at the stars. Now, I haven't seen anything like the Arizona lights or the lights over San Fransico but I have seen things that don't make sense. Lights that blink and move in no particular pattern. Amber lights that seem to get close to me then shoot out of sight. Lights that seem to stop and look at another light and then keep going. Maybe I'll get some proof of those things at some point but right now I only have one picture to share. It's from a time-lapse outside my house and at one point there is a flash, and it only is recorded on one frame. Blinked in and out of existence but I captured it.

I enhanced the temperature and contrast and whatnot to show the different brightnesses but the little circles are normal stars and the flash in the middle is the thing I'm trying to figure out. Personally, I'm leaning toward a portal of some sort. Let me know your thoughts.
