About Tim
Tim’s journey to recovery began after more than two decades of substance use—starting at just 13 years old. Over the years, he faced countless challenges, including nine separate treatment attempts. Each one taught him something, but it wasn’t until April 20, 2024, that everything changed. That was the day Tim decided to fully commit to a new way of life.
From that moment on, he began rebuilding from the ground up. Tim spent the next two years at Project Unity, where structure, accountability, and community helped him find stability and purpose. It was there that he developed not only the foundation for his own recovery, but the mindset and resilience needed to sustain it long-term.
Today, Tim’s recovery is rooted in connection and service. He is an active member of Narcotics Anonymous and is known for showing up—consistently, honestly, and without judgment. His strength comes from lived experience, and his ability to connect with others comes from truly understanding what they’re going through.
In March 2026, Tim joined 217 Recovery as a Peer Recovery Coach. Now, he uses everything he’s been through to help others navigate early recovery, overcome barriers, and believe that change is possible.
Tim’s story is proof that no matter how long the struggle, recovery is always within reach—and no one has to do it alone.
