Punishment

Mitch and I got our blogs out late last week. For punishment Corey made us take pictures with this sign. I was totally out of my comfort zone. Cars were driving by pointing at us and laughing. I felt ashamed for not promptly doing what I knew I needed to do.

I then got over myself and started to have fun with it. People will push you out of your comfort zone. My advice is to go with it. You never know if it's going to be fun or not till you do it. Just remember to keep an open mind.

Today in life I do a bunch of things that I would not normally do. I do have lots of fun doing things. That's what being in recovery is all about doing uncomfortable things. All I can say is I am really happy that I stayed on the path that a few people showed me in my recovery.
