Fun in Recovery

This is what it looks like having fun. Today we had are co-host event. It was a beach volleyball tournament. I grilled hotdogs for two hours and boy was it hot.

My daughter got to meet some really cool people today in recovery. She said man those were some really awesome people. She then went on and say that I hope they make it to where you are at.

It brought a few watery tears to my eyes. Cause I remember a time when I wasn't sure if I wasn't going to live to see another day. The sad part is she watched me struggle for so long. Now she has witnessed me become a wonderful human. This brings so much joy to my heart to be there and make all these memories.
