I have been on the go for what seems like forever now. So this weekend, I decided to take a weekend of rest. At the same time I don't have my daughter. I kind of feel torn. I miss her deeply. But the same time I feel like she's gonna kill me one day. She's real go-getter and doesn't know how to stop.
She doesn't realize how old her father is or out of shape. I do really enjoy doing things with her. But sometimes we just need time to rest. For the first time in weeks, I took a nap. It felt amazing. In all actuality I enjoy doing things and staying busy.
At some point in time, we just have to realize that we need to take care of our body in terms of rest. We need to recharge the good old batteries once in a while. So after this restful, I can't wait to be reunited with her next weekend. Hopefully we have many more adventures, but sometimes I just need sleep.
