Trying

The other day I thought I was doing a good deed for my mom. Her internet bill is just ridiculously high. I took it upon myself to try to help her just like she had done so many times for me in the past. I called Spectrum to set up the internet at her house. They informed me of their internet and cell phone bundle. I went ahead and set it all up in my name to try and give something back to a person who has given me so much over the years.

I then called her to give her the good news. She got mad at me for doing something nice for her. I told her that I was in a good spot in life and was trying to help. I also said I have never been in this spot to give back to you. It's not like I'm out here shooting moves and hustling. I work for a living and not being some knucklehead in the streets. She then apologized for what she had said.

After all that was over. I went and picked out a new phone. I looked through the store for a while. I looked at a few different phones but settled on getting her an iPhone 15 plus. She needs a big screen because that is what happens when you get old. Your eyes don't work like they did when you were young. I know iPhones last a long time and will be a great phone for her.

I told her about the phone and how I got all the protection for it. She is so pleased with me, and it makes me feel amazing. I never thought I would be able to give back to her. Cause she never wants anything I offer. But she would give me the world if I needed it. 

Later,
