I know I'm fat and out of shape but this past weekend I found just how much I am. 217 Recovery Center had their first ever disc golf event it was at Hickory Hills. We showed up. Set up the tent and the tables. After that, we all started to play the course. In the beginning, it was an easy course. After the first few baskets, I realized how much uphill I was walking. Then about halfway through it felt like we were climbing a freaking mountain. I was wiped right out. Thankfully it started to rain and we decided to call it and walk out. With that being said two days later my hips are still killing me. But I would do it all over again. Disc golf is a lot of fun. A great way to burn through a couple of pounds.
