Spirituality

Spirituality can be a very controversial topic. Even though what it’s all about is finding peace, purpose, and doing things you’re passionate about that make you feel better. Even to this day, there are countless debates from philosophers, psychologists, and highly educated people what the exact definition is.

For me, spirituality and religion are two separate entities. My spirituality is finding peace and purpose, like I said before. It’s doing the things that furthers us towards the greater good. I feel like I am practicing spirituality every day when I’m at work in my workshops, educating these men by using the curriculum required; paired with my personal experience and knowledge of trial and error, my first hand tragedies and triumphs, strengths and weaknesses, and how I finally decided I was tired of slowly killing my mind, body, soul, and chances of ever being whole and happy with vodka and sorrow.

1.) The greater good

2.) Acknowledging what I CAN control

3.) CHOOSING happiness

4.) Setting the hard boundaries; no matter the consequences

5.) Taking care of past repercussions

6.) Allowing others to love me wholly

7.) Unconditional love

8.) My beautiful daughter, Elise Corinne 💗💗

9.) That stubborn wife of mine, she has helped me more than words can describe

My mother’s never ending hope, faith, blood, sweat, and tears she’s put into this woman right here 🥰

I don’t know everything, I know I still have a lot to learn and accept. But I do know today spirituality is being at peace with the woman I am today, acknowledging and accepting all of my past without judgement, being happy and content with all in my life, and having goals, excitement, and realistic expectations for my future. Have a bless night!

Yours truly,

Anna
