I’ve been so sick this past almost week, and I’m talking laying in bed coughing and getting winded going to the bathroom. (My bathroom is probably 10 steps from my bedroom) My wife got sick before I did, and even though she missed 2 days of clinicals, she worked through it, literally. Either I’m a giant baby or she’s tough as nails (perhaps a little bit of both), all I know is if she felt half as bad as I did and still worked, she’s a super hero in my book. I work from home half of time, so that weighed on my favor as well, what I’m getting at; we all have different roles in work/school life and in our personal/private life. When asked by his friends who’s the housewife (out of Jamie and I), my stepson responded, “Anna of course”. This didn’t sit right with me at first and right away I felt the need to remind everyone I work full time and provide for this family too! They already know that though and definitely don’t need reminded or convinced, it was I that needed that validation. 1.) Feeling appreciated
3.) God’s grace
8.) Elise Corinne ❤️ 9.) Jamie, my devoted wife
Having roles and working as a team with the understanding and respect of each others capacities and being content doing so, that’s a beautiful thing called interdependence. 🥰
And if no one has told you they love you today, I love you!
